- argues that personality is composed of a number of features or attributes.
- A noticeable feature is an on and continuing in respect of which an individual is different from another. They are differentiating between subjects variables.
- Distinguishing features: common, hereditary, determined by the environment, for reasons related to temperament and capacity.
- Characteristics of the features:
a) many subjects are common but vary in absolute amounts.
b) are stable and have a clear impact on individuals.
